Ceramic coffee table by French artist Roger Capron. 

The top is made of an intricate mosaic of glazed ceramic stoneware that forms a flower. These polychrome tiles forming the flower are in engraved decoration, a technique which consists in incising the piece, still wet, with a blade or a roughing tool. 

The tiles were made in France and more particularly in Vallauris. 

The signature "R. Capron" at the bottom of the flower allows us to place the date of creation around the end of the 60s, beginning of the 70s since there is no mention of "Vallauris" or "France".
